RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We know buying footwear online can be challenging. Our goal is to offer you an easy-to-use return portal and adequate time to determine if the boots or shoes will work for you.

You may return or exchange your item(s) within 30 days of receiving your order for a full refund. All items must be in New, Unused Condition with their original shoe box and any inserts.  Footwear worn outside is not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Footwear received that is not in new, unused condition will be returned to you without a refund or exchange. Items not returned in their original packaging may be delayed in the processing of your return.

Making a Return

You can begin your return by clicking here. You will need:

  • The email address and shipping zip code associated with your order.  
  • Your order number can be found in three places: in your email confirmation, by logging in to your AKU footwear Account, or on your packing slip listed under "PO#:" The number will look like “US-5555.”

Return FAQs

IS THERE A return fee?

We offer free return shipping on Exchanges and Returns for Store Credit.            

Returns for a refund will have an amount of $10.00 will be deducted from your refund to help with return shipping costs.

Returns of 3 or more pairs may be subjest to an additional fee of $10.00 per unit.

 

Can I exchange my item?

            Yes, simply start the return process and select an exchange. Exchanges can only be made for the same item in a different color/size. If you would like a differrent item we suggest creating a return for store credit.

Are Shipping costs refundable?

            We are not able to refund the original shipping fee on an order that does not meet our minimum free shipping amount. Please see our shipping page for the minimum order value to receive free shipping.

OVERSEAS MILITARY ADDRESSES

            At this time we are not able to provide prepaid shipping labels from an address on an overseas military base or diplomatic location. If you need to make a return or exchange you will need to provide your own shipping label.

What if I don't know my order number?

            If you do not have your order number, you can log in to your AKU Outdoor account to find it. It will also be in the order confirmation and shipping emails. If you are still having trouble finding it, please contact us here.

Do you have a warranty POLICY?

            All AKU footwear comes with a 2 year warranty against manufactures defects. To learn more about our warranty or to submit a warranty claim, please visit our warranty page.

How long does a return take?

            All of our return labels are generated through the United States Postal Service or Canada Post. Please allow up to 5 business days for your return to get to us and another 5-6 business days for us to process your return.

How long does it take to get my exchange?

            We will process your exchange as soon as we verify your return in our warehouse. Once the exchange is processed you will receive a new order confirmation email and a shipment confirmation. Please allow 5-10 business days for your new pair to reach you.

Can my exchange be expedited?

            To receive your exchange quicker, please place a new order with the pair of boots you need and request a refund on your original order. This will reduce the time it takes to receive your exchange by roughly 5 days.

Returns Fine Print

            All refunds and exchanges will be made at the sole discretion of AKU Outdoor. If a return is made without our authorization, outside of the 30 day return window, or is received in a condition that does not meet the above requirements, we reserve the right to refuse the return or only issue a partial refund depending on the condition of the footwear. This decision is made solely at our discretion.
