HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE
We create our footwear using lasts based on real feet. Because of this we make it easy to find your perfect fit.
1st. Step onto a piece of paper and mark just behind your heel and in front of your longest toe.
2nd. Do this for both feet and then measure the centimeters between these lines. This measurement is your Mondopoint.
3rd. Using the measurement from your longest foot find your correlating size below.
Used it once for a 75 pounds, 5 km marche; the fit is good, very comfortable, the front part of the boot is larger (compare to the Pilgrim that is very fit) so it leaves more space to the toes to wear thicker sox, leather seems to be good quality, will be perfect for cold weather (not too cold, I hope so).
As I bought The Griffon Combat GTX boots I haven’t had the opportunity to try them out yet. However the fit when I tried them on was accurate as listed and comfortable.
The website was really easy to navigate and purchasing was seamless. Packaging was sufficient for the product and shipping was fast.
Really looking forward to putting the boots through their paces, as well already eyeing up my next purchase.
Already recommended AKU to many friends.
The delivery time was quick, I received them 3 business days after purchasing.
The quality and finishing appears excellent to me.
They have been comfortable even out of the box, before any break in.
I purchased these for cold climate winters. They have been worn in negative temperatures for prolonged periods and have found them to be warm and comfortable.
I have found the sizing was comparable to boot brands like Altberg and Rocky, while fitting larger than Danner brand boots.
The tongue is fully gusseted and ample enough to allow easy donning and doffing, which I really appreciate for a boot of that height.
The soles have performed very well, and I have found them to provide high levels of grip and comfort across different conditions, even in below zero temperatures.
