Comfortable and supportive

I am really impressed with these boots. The leather lining is very comfortable and the toe box easily accommodates my wide forefoot. For reference I wear a 10 in salomon boots and shoes but the 9.5 in these has plenty of room for thicker socks or downhill segments without fear of squishing my toes. Only reason I am not giving these a 5 is that the outer leather is a little softer than I’d like. After a week of wear they already have some cosmetic scratches that I haven’t been able to buff out. These scratches will add some nice character to the boots but they do make me worried about longevity. I figure I’ve got at least a solid 2 years out of them which isn’t bad at all for the price

Great craftmanship

I really like them so far(only been a month). They look and feel great. I've owned a lot of different brands for the past 20+ years and they seem as good if not better than anything else I've had. Time will tell.
I bought them for their simplicity and very fair value.

Leather Lined Boots

These are one of the last leather-lined, non-Goretex boots available on the market. They are the only boots with these qualities at a reasonable price. They are fully waterproof when waxed regularly, yet breath much better than a goretex lined boot. I wear mine from -30 in Canada to +40 in East Africa. They are at least as well made as the Lowa's that they replaced since Lowa no longer make a mid-weight leather lined boot without Goretex. I am breaking in my second pair after 4 years of good use. The originals have no holes in the leather inside or outside and the sole is just starting to wear out. Please keep making this boot for those of us who appreciate the merits of good craftsmanship and traditional materials.
