Why We
Made This...

Designed to the lowest impact and most comfortable travel boot available

The Minima is an elegant, outdoor inspired style that evokes the traditional mountain footwear taste. Ideal for use in the city and while traveling. Minima is the first and only footwear on the outdoor market to have a shoe upper and lining in 100% Zero Impact® leather, obtained through a low environmental impact tanning process, without chromium or heavy metals. AKU's footwear design is born with dedication to being responsible, aiming at reducing leather waste during manufacturing by re-utilizing it in various components of the product, while CO2 emissions produced during the entire Minima life cycle have been compensated for by supporting United Nations initiatives for climate neutrality (UNFCCC). Minima is also available for women with specific female insole anatomy.

Will buy

Own a pair of akus, so I know my fit. Love this boot will probably buy. But if you're going to call it minima why put a label on it? Rather have a clean bit of leather especially on the instep.
